Notes: In a vintage where many vineyards struggled to achieve the famously vibrant, Blenhiem brand of Sauvignon Blanc, Nelson’s Kaimira Estate has absolutely hit the nail on the head.
Everything that you have come to expect from a lively, young Sauvignon Blanc, this wine is certainly true to its varietal. Aroma’s of grapefruit, lemon and tropical fruits leads through to a vibrant, yet well balanced palate of passion fruit, zesty lime, gooseberry and minerality with just a hint of the cut grass typically found in Nelson SB’s.
Overall, a real stand-out Sauvignon Blanc for 2016, well worthy of stocking up for this seasons drinking. Great match for summer salads, and seafood dishes.
