Notes: A stunning wine, once again receiving a gold at the 2015 NZ Organic Wine Awards. 10% fermented in Oak barrels which reduces acidity found in Sauvignon Blanc and increase complexity.
The aroma contains sweet and savoury nuances, including rock melon, citrus and herbaceous notes. On the palate the layers become evident as you experience a buttery oak, chalky minerality and early season peach, gooseberry, and glimpses of green capsicum.
A complex, clever wine, and one that should be on your shopping list.
