Notes: An elegant, restrained Pinot, with aromas of ripe stonefruit and mineral nuances. Blackberry and dark cherry on the palate, balanced against a smokey oak infused with gentle spice. The Urlar 2011 provides a sustained, sweetening fruit finish. Drinks well now, will unfold well if cellared carefully until 2018-2020.
