Notes: A wonderful example of a mature look at Sauvignon Blanc. Fermented in french oak barriques for 8 months has given this wine huge depth and layers of complexity seldom found in this varietal. Herbaceous and mineral nuances in the aroma with hints of stonefruit throughout. Peach and plum come through in the palate, against a shortbread like buttery taste courtesy of the malolactic fermentation. Long pleasant nutty finish, with mineral suggestions. Drinks perfectly now, or with careful storage until 2018.
